At this time of year, it’s nice to treat yourself to a little pampering, a little polish.

Everyone wants to look good, to look their best, but sometimes that best falls just a little short of where you want to be.  And that can be frustrating, especially after you’ve take such good care of yourself with a proper diet, plenty of exercise, and certainly a well-stocked and executed skin care routine.

Sadly, as we age, the areas under our eyes, our cheeks, and even our jawlines begin to sag because they lose volume.  Right before our eyes, our faces almost seem to deflate like a balloon or a flat tire, and our skin might even begin to look too big for its frame.  Our faces seem just a little droopy, a little tired.  Sometimes, we might even appear to be sad or angry when we’re just standing in thought.  And that’s upsetting because that’s hardly how we actually feel, and it’s certainly not the way that we want to appear to anyone.  It’s not the message that we want to send.

Fortunately, dermal fillers can provide a quick and easy remedy to your falling expression.

As a matter of fact, a dermal filler procedure can take 10 or 15 years off of your appearance in such a subtle way that you’ll have people guessing at your secret. You’ll look well-rested and more vibrant, more youthful. So that when you look in the mirror, you’ll see the person that you were expecting to see, the one that you wanted to see.

And the best part is that there is almost no down time.  If you follow your doctor’s advice and give yourself the proper care ahead of time, there will be hardly any recovery time after the dermal filler procedure is over.  You can actually prevent the telltale signs of bruising. For example, before having a dermal filler procedure, it’s best to stop taking any asprin products or byproducts, as well as fish oil, Gingko, and Vitamin E.  But, of course, any necessary restrictions or supplements should be discussed with your doctor beforehand.

There are a variety of dermal fillers to choose from. You may have heard the names: Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane, Teosyal, Sculptra, Radiesse, Artefill, Artesense and many more.  They vary according to what they are made from, how long they last, and how much they cost, and the results can last anywhere from 6 months to 3 years.

So, give yourself a little instant gratification. You really do deserve it.
